Unicook Cordierite Pizza Stone, 15 mm Thick Heavy Duty Baking Stone for Oven and BBQ with Dough Scraper

Unicook Cordierite Pizza Stone

The Unicook pizza stone is made from premium cordierite, kiln-fired for hours to give superior strength, durability, heat retention and excellent resistance to thermal shock. At 15 mm thick, it holds heat and spreads it evenly so every pizza bakes consistently, giving you pizzeria-style results at home. It is available in four square and rectangular sizes, and each stone comes with a handy plastic dough scraper.

Crispy Crusts, Not Soggy Bases

Metal trays trap steam under the dough, which often leaves the middle of a pizza soft and soggy. This cordierite stone is full of tiny invisible pores that draw excess moisture out of the dough as it bakes, giving a crisp, golden crust on pizza, flatbread and bread. It works with fresh and frozen pizzas, in a home oven or on a barbecue, and is rated to very high temperatures.

Pizza Stone Highlights

• Cordierite Stone: strong and resistant to thermal shock.
• 15 mm Thick: excellent heat retention.
• Porous Surface: draws moisture out for crispy crusts.
• Four Sizes: square and rectangular options.

Unicook Pizza Stone Specifications

More Than Just Pizza

Use it for homemade and frozen pizza, calzones, flatbreads, focaccia, artisan loaves and cookies. Choose a square stone for smaller ovens or a large rectangle for family-sized pizzas and bread. The included scraper doubles as a dough cutter and lifts residue from the cool stone. For the crispiest base, put the stone in a cold oven and preheat it with the oven for 45 to 60 minutes at the highest setting. Dust a peel with semolina or flour so the pizza slides on easily. Never use soap or oil on the stone; scrape off residue once cool, rinse with warm water and let it dry completely. Dark stains are normal and show a well-used stone.
