Mason Cash Ceramic Hen Egg Nest

The Mason Cash hen egg nest brings a touch of British farmyard charm to your kitchen worktop while keeping eggs safely stored and close to hand. Lift the decorative hen lid to reveal a roomy base for eggs, then set it back for a display piece that looks at home in country and modern kitchens alike. Choose the copper and black Rise and Shine design or the classic Mother Hen.

Heritage Kitchenware That Earns Its Place

Plastic egg boxes are practical but rarely something you want on show. Mason Cash has been making kitchenware since 1800, rooted in the heart of the English ceramic industry, and its hen nests have become a much-loved British kitchen classic. This nest is made from chip-resistant dolomite and measures 23 x 17 x 21 cm, large enough for a good supply of eggs. Many UK cooks keep eggs at room temperature for baking, and the nest keeps them together, protected and easy to reach. It is hand wash only to protect the glaze.

Egg Nest Highlights

  • Decorative Hen Lid: the removable top makes loading and lifting eggs easy.
  • Chip-Resistant Dolomite: a sturdy ceramic body built for daily kitchen use.
  • Two Classic Designs: copper and black Rise and Shine or the traditional Mother Hen.
  • British Heritage Brand: Mason Cash has crafted kitchenware since 1800.

FAQs

Q: How many eggs does the nest hold?

A: The base comfortably holds around half a dozen to a dozen eggs depending on their size. It is designed for worktop storage rather than the fridge.

Q: Can it go in the dishwasher?

A: No. Please hand wash it in warm soapy water and dry it carefully to keep the glaze looking its best.

Q: How quickly will my egg holder arrive?

A: We pack your order promptly for swift UK dispatch, and a dependable courier service delivers it to UK mainland addresses. You will receive tracking details by email as soon as the parcel leaves us, so you can plan for its arrival and make sure someone is home to take it in.
