With five separate stacking trays, this HOMCOM dryer keeps fruit, vegetables and herbs apart for better hygiene and no cross-contamination of flavours. For the best results, cut food into even slices of around 5 mm and lay them in a single layer with gaps so warm air can flow freely. Herbs dry quickly, fruit usually takes several hours, and lean meat for jerky can take longer. Let everything cool fully before storing it in airtight jars or bags in a cool, dark cupboard.
