BIBURY 1.4 L Bento Lunch Box with 3 Compartments, Leakproof, Removable Tray, Fork and Spoon

BIBURY Bento Lunch Box

The BIBURY lunch box comes in nine colours and holds a full 1.4 L meal. Use it as one large adult portion or three balanced sections for children.

Leakproof for Busy Days

Ordinary lunch boxes let sauces seep into your bag. BIBURY adds a seal gasket to the lid and a removable divided tray, so wet and dry food stay where you packed them.

Why It Works

• 1.4 L Capacity: a filling portion for adults.
• 3 Compartments: a removable tray keeps foods apart.
• Seal Gasket: a leakproof lid for soups and dressings.
• 9 Colours: a shade to suit every member of the family.

The Numbers

How to Use It

Fixed dividers limit what you can pack. BIBURY's inner three-compartment tray lifts out, so you can use the outer box on its own for a big salad or pasta. A seal gasket stops leaks, and the fork and spoon clip into the lid. Microwave safe with the lid off.

To keep packed lunches safe and appetising, prepare them the night before and store the filled box in the fridge overnight, then add an ice pack or a frozen drink to the lunch bag in the morning so perishable foods such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy and rice stay cold until lunchtime. Keep wet and dry foods in separate compartments so crackers, crisps and sandwiches stay crisp, and pack sauces and dressings in a small lidded pot to add just before eating. Cooked rice should be cooled quickly, kept chilled and eaten within a day, and anything left in the box at the end of the day is best thrown away. For balanced meals, fill the largest section with wholegrain bread, pasta or rice, add a good portion of protein such as chicken, beans, eggs or cheese, and pack the smaller compartments with chopped vegetables, fruit, nuts or yoghurt.

Always remove lids before microwaving and heat food until it is steaming hot right through. Wash the box, lid and seal every evening in warm soapy water, take out removable seals now and then to clean underneath, and let every part dry completely before closing it up, which stops smells and mould from building up. Letting children help choose and pack their own lunch makes them far more likely to eat it.
