The non-porous surface resists stains and odours. Store boards upright in a rack or stand so air can circulate around them.

Stacking damp boards flat traps moisture and can lead to warping and mould. Bamboo and wooden boards should be washed by hand in hot soapy water, rinsed and stood upright to dry.
